Celebrating poetry
April is poetry month, a chance for students to celebrate a love of language through an appreciation of poetry. Students of all ages enjoy the lyrical, rhythmic qualities of poetry making it a wonderful choice for at home reading. Poems provide an excellent opportunity for students to practice reading aloud, developing fluency and expression.
